Sorn has been involved with tourism for over 20 years. She has served as Director of Freeport’s Downtown Business Association, and has been with the Stephenson County Convention and Visitors Bureau since 1990. Her experiences are many and she has witnessed numerous business successes based on tourism.

“Many of our E & I Club members ask how they can connect with tourists,” commented Russ Simpson, Counselor for the Small Business Development Center. “This is a great opportunity for all of us to learn how we can be a part of the local tourist industry.”

“The E & I Club meetings are an excellent opportunity for networking”, commented Dave Keiser, Carroll County Economic Development Director. “The casual, non-threatening atmosphere allows people to feel comfortable as they interact and hopefully help each other to become successful.”

All inventors, entrepreneurs, business & industrial representatives, economic development professionals, along with community leaders, county leaders and anyone else who might be interested are encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be served.
